Annual Work Programme
For better planning and coordination, a work programme is being prepared and regularly updated, in order to safeguard that the work of the Council is well prepared and appropriately focused. For the years 2022 and 2023, the work of the Council is reflected in its sessions/meetings programme and in the work of its sub-committees on selected priority areas / subjects, as referred to below.

Sessions and meetings of the Council
The Council meets regularly while additional meetings and consultations are held with stakeholders, from both the public and the private sector, on several competitiveness and economic growth aspects. On the basis of the decision for its set up, representatives of these stakeholders may be invited to participate in the works of the Council, with an advising capacity. It should be noted that, as per the above CoM decision (no. 85.108, date 13/6/2018), the Council Members have been appointed on a personal basis, hence they cannot appoint any representatives to attend the Council's sessions or meeting with stakeholders, in the event of their absence.

Working Groups
When appropriate, special Working Groups (WG) may be set up with the participation of competent experts from the public or the private sector. The Members have identified certain sectors / subjects of priority that the Council's work should focus on. In this context, smaller sub-committees have been formed within the Council, in order to further study the selected issues, as a first step, and, where appropriate, develop a special WG to undertake an in-depth analysis of each sector and contribute to formulating appropriate policy recommendations for the further development and enhanced competitiveness of the sector.

Transparency - Publication
Under the principle of transparency, the Council will ensure that the public and all the stakeholders are systematically informed on its work, its conclusions and recommendations, through publications in this website as well as announcements in the media. The publication of its Annual Report further enhances the accountability of the Council.
